AHEAD OF TOMORROW'S ELECTION : MUSICIANS STAND FOR PEACE

Gospel music heavyweights Daughters of Glorious Jesus and a core of Ghanaian musicians on Thursday, December 6, appeared as guests on a special edition of Peace FM’s Entertainment Review programme. Together with the likes of Kwaw Kese, Ofori Amponsah, Kofi Sarpong, and Ohemaa Mercy, the musicians pledged individual peace messages ahead of tomorrow’s elections. Highlife artiste turned pastor Ofori Amponsah called on Ghanaians to remain peaceful throughout the process, admonishing the incoming government to take advantage of Ghana’s vast resources to meet the needs of the citizens. He also called on the incoming government to operate a system where everyone can contribute their quota to the development of the country irrespective of one’s political affiliation. The artistes performed various renditions of their individual songs. The show was anchored by stand-in host Nana Yaw Kese.                                          Originally published on Enewsgh
