The 2013 edition of the Woman 2.1 Summit has been launched in Accra. At an impressive ceremony held at Villa Monticello, Chief Executive Officer of Effusion, Africa Benjamin Gregory Aggrey, mentioned that the summit was necessitated by the need to share the success stories of women, and what they can do to inspire growth in all aspects of national life. “The Summit is not to pitch women at men, I don’t believe in men being the standard for women to match. Women should be better version of themselves,” he said. Some personalities scheduled to speak at this year’s event including Charlotte Gustavsson, Chief Executive Officer of Viasat 1 Ghana, Sefa Gohoho, CEO of Shangai Africa Group, Constance Swaniker, CEO of Accents & Arts, Eunice Ijeoma Aku Ogbugo, CEO of Eugo Terrano, and Ellen Hagan, CEO of L’Aine Services, took turns to share their success stories.
