Power couple Jay Z and Beyonce, over the weekend, attended the ‘JRRNNYS’ exhibition by Ghanaian artist Derek Fordjour. On Saturday, February 16, the couple visited the Night Gallery, Los Angeles, United States of America to view the latest works of Fordjour, once referred to as ‘The Jay Z of The Art world’ in a FORBES feature article. The exhibition started on February 2, and will end on March 2, 2019. Fordjour was born to Ghanaian parents in 1974 in Memphis, Tennessee, United States of America. He is an interdisciplinary artist who works in video/film, sculpture and painting. He is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta Georgia, earned a Master’s Degree in Art Education from Harvard University and an MFA in painting at Hunter College.
