MISS GHANA 2012 NAA OKAILEY SHOOTER MAKES HISTORY AT MISS WORLD 2013

Miss Ghana 2012 Naa Okailey Shooter made history by being the only African delegate at this year’s Miss World 2013 finals to make it to the Top 5 finalists.

She eventually won the 2^nd runner up position.

Miss France Marine Lorphelin placed second to Miss Philippines Meagan Young who was crowned Miss World 2013 at an event held at Nusa Dua Convention Centre in Bali, Indonesia.

Social Media has been awash with congratulatory messages for the feat, which is the first of its kind in the history of Miss Ghana’s affiliation with the Miss World competition.

Okailey placed third in the Miss World Beach Fashion and was amongst the top ten finalist in Beauty with A purpose project.

Barring any change of plans, she is expected back in Ghana on Monday, and would be met on arrival by her family members, officials of the Miss Ghana organization and some state officials.

Songstress Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor, known in showbiz circles as Efya continues to ride up high.
