              Today's post is about celebrity marriages that lasted less than a year . I want to believe that no one   marries with           the   intention of ever   divorcing not to talk of in less than a year.                  Any keen follower of Hollywood knows that this isn’t a big deal but it takes space on celeb websites, blogs ;  entertainment programs on television and radio with blogger,writers and presenters discussing it in detail.                 Hollywood marriages end with one of the filing for divorce with “ irreconcilable differences “ as the  r eason/excuse for the breakdown of their marriage.There ‘ ve being a few occasions though when specific  reasons   have being given for the end of a celeb marriage.               Below are a few examples of celebrity marriages that didn’t last beyond a year. I love it because its very simple and nice.   In an era where sexuality is exploited in every situation , I think she deserves commendation for being different.        What do you think ? @Ghameli

                           I ’ ve always being of the opinion that celebrities ARE NOT role models. Its   up to the parents/guardians to be  worthy role models   and not to leave it to someone who is famous for whatever reason to mentor   their children.         I think its weird   and funny when people refer to some celebrities as bad role models because of their lifestyle. As Rihanna tweeted sometime ago there’s nothing like a good or bad role model   but just a role model. Celebrities aren’t perfect people and I doubt if they see themselves as such.       The quote below is from the Oprah’s interview with Rihanna for the show Oprah’s Next Chapter aired on Sunday 19 th August, 2012. “ Oprah:   Are you comfortable with the title “role model “ ?” ‘Rihanna: No because of what society has made that title.               This post was inspired after reading   some tweets a couple of days ago. The message was directed at stans : assuming you don’t know what/who stans are (they are hard-core fans of musicians who don’t take it lightly when anyone says anything nasty about their favourite artiste or people who are obsessed with music stars.)               Stan is said to have come about as a result of hip pop super star Eminem’s experience with fan who was obsessed with him (Eminem ), this led to the song stan by Eminem.           Fact is that some of these stans have ‘ group names “ so whenever that name is mentioned , you know the particular artiste they are representing . First time I got to know of Canadian RnB artist Melanie Fiona Hallim stage name Melanie Fiona was when I watched the video of her song “it kills me” a single from her first album The Bridge , I said to myself this lady can sing . I don’t remember the exact time but it marked the beginning of my love for Melanie and her music. I feel like Melanie is one of the many music talents who are so underrated . I am however glad that she is receiving the needed recognition considering her recent performance at this year’s BET Awards , music lovers are warming up to her music. Her second album titled The MF Life was released on 20th March,2012.
