First time I got to know of Canadian RnB artist Melanie Fiona Hallim stage name Melanie Fiona was when I watched the video of her song “it kills me” a single from her first album The Bridge , I said to myself this lady can sing . I don’t remember the exact time but it marked the beginning of my love for Melanie and her music.
I feel like Melanie is one of the many music talents who are so underrated . I am however glad that she is receiving the needed recognition considering her recent performance at this year’s BET Awards , music lovers are warming up to her music. Her second album titled The MF Life was released on 20th March,2012. Songs on the album are
.This time ft J.Cole
.4am
.Break down these walls
.I been that girl
.Wrong side of a love song
.Running ft Nas
.Change the record ft B.O.B
.Gone and never coming back
.Bones
.watch me work
.Cant say
.L.O.V.E ft John Legend
.6am ft T-Pain
.Rock paper scissors
.What am I to do
16. Cant do this no more
.Like I love you
My personal favourites on the album are this time , 4am , break down these walls , gone and never coming back and like I love you. There are other genres of music apart from RnB I suggest you get yourself a copy of the album if you don’t have one and I bet on my last coin that you wouldn’t regret it. Let me know what you think after listening to her album in the comments section or lets have a chat on twitter @Ghameli
